    Rhinoplasty Singapore Reviews

If you’re looking for an incredible plastic surgeon who is genuine, caring, kind, honest and has years of experience, then Dr Jonah is your man ! I went to see Dr Jonah in Aug 2022 for my first consultation and I knew instantly I wanted this man to carry out my surgery.

His knowledge, experience and his caring nature made me feel confident and safe under his care. I wanted a rhinoplasty and Dr Jonah gave me the best advice. He always answered my questions and was always happy to help. Dr Jonah is an amazing surgeon who goes above and beyond his duties, he’s very kind and caring with a good sense of humour and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone and if I decide to have further treatment he would be the one. Im happy with the results and feeling more confident with myself.Thank you so much Dr Jonah.

This review is being written out 1 year post-op. I cannot recommend Dr Jonah Kua enough. My results are totally natural and if it wasn’t for old photos, it is totally plausible that I was born with my current face.

He was able to confidently answer all my questions, and being extremely realistic about what can be achieved and what could not. I trust his judgement as well as his style, which is as natural as possible.

Most of my friends who had not seen me in a while were unable to pinpoint why I looked different compared to before. He is very skilled not just technically, but through his bedside manner as well.

He put me at ease throughout the entire process. Recovery was quick, painless, and fuss free. I have recommended him to everyone who’s asked about my procedures!

April 2021 - Terence Goh, MBBS, MRCS(Ed), FAMS (Plast Surg)
    Post by ripakip614 | Rhinoplasty 5 months post-op

Dr. Goh is an extremely meticulous doctor. He's very focused on his work and is honest and upfront with his patients about what he can achieve and what they can expect from the surgery. He also tries his best to understand patient desires and is happy to accommodate extra consultations to fully discuss them despite being extremely busy. It's easy to explain things to him and he clarifies everything with the patient before moving forward. For example, during the consultation for my rhinoplasty, I sent him, 10 page document explaining exactly what I wanted, and he went through all the details with me over multiple consultations while giving advice about what would suit my face and how best to achieve it. He's also friendly and easy to get along with. I never felt nervous or afraid during my experience with him even during the surgery. He's reassuring, which is a nice quality for a plastic surgeon to have. The staff at this clinic are really helpful and responsive when it comes to patient concerns. Results-wise, Dr. Goh achieved exactly what I'd asked for. Everything looks natural and lines up with what I envisioned. Overall, I'd recommend Dr. Goh if you're looking for an honest, communicative, and competent doctor. I picked him over other doctors because he seemed like a down-to-earth person I could honestly discuss my concerns with. Prepare to do a lot of thinking, though. He won't move forward with surgery until he's certain of what a patient wants and that they've completely considered the consequences of plastic surgery. Ethically speaking, he's the most responsible doctor I met, which also factored into my decision to be his patient.

I did incisional bleph with dr terence in july 20. i saw great final results 6 months after, hence i decided to go back to him for nose tipplasty. i’ve had several consultations with different surgeons in singapore, but felt most comfy with him as he understood my concerns & goals.
i sent him some pictures of the nose i want and he gave me exactly that(while making sure it suits me, of course). he explained what needs to be done and what can be achieved. post operative swelling was minimal with NO bruising at all. he is also responsive to emails.
shoutout to emily & dubai scrub nurse, they were bloody friendly, warm, and reassuring.
10/10 if i had another face, would look for dr terence again.

2020 - Ying Yap DeFabio / The Rhinoplasty Clinic
I am very satisfy with the Dr. Tan and his team. They are very patient and professional. During my first consultation, Dr. Tan spent more than an hour gave me a great detail about rhinoplasty . A week before the surgery he spent another 30 mins to ensure I understand the procedure, practical expectation, etc . And I had my blood test as well to ensure I am free from infectious diseases .
I would recommend him if you are considering doing  rhinoplasty in Singapore .

I had my rhinoplasty done 2 years ago by Dr Chia. After surgery, the recovery was comfortable and hardly any pain. I love my new nose! The shape is beautiful and natural. It feels natural too. It’s not stiff and I can move my nose around naturally. Dr Chia is very understanding and patient. I will definitely go back to her for any aesthetic procedures!

Sep 2016 - Rhinoplasty good surgeon in sg to recommend?
Any other recommendations other than Woffles? I consulted with Woffles a few months ago, he seemed very experienced and confident, but he quoted me $35K for a Rhinoplasty procedure (hump removal, tip refinement and a septoplasty). Way over my budget!
Any other recommendations for Rhinoplasty surgeons (caucasian rhinoplasty) in Singapore would be much appreciated.

Mar 2016 - Plastic Surgeon in Singapore
Hi there. I recently used Dr KS Tan. I've only been recovering a few weeks and nose it swollen and doesn't feel symmetrical. I think this is normal. I just wondered if you could shed more light on your procedure and why you were pleased?

Feb 2013 - Dr Martin Huang is a top-ranked plastic surgeon, and he’s a very experienced doctor in his field. In fact, he is the plastic surgeon behind the famous ‘reconstructed’ $12,000 nose of Singapore’s very own blond-turned-pink-haired blogger, Xiaxue...

Rhinoplasty-- Woffles Wu or Martin Huang?
    Post by perfectionist88 » Fri, 29 Jul 2011
Woffles Wu is charging me $15,900 for Gore-Tex implant with ear cartilage grafts and $4,600 for double eyelid surgery. A basic silicon implant will cost $8950.
Martin Huang is charging me between $8,000 - $10,000 for Rhinoplasty under local anaesthesia and between $2,000 - $5,000 for double eyelid surgery. Further discounts can be discussed if you decide upon doing both.

Rhinoplasty (Nose augmentation or Nose Jobs) Singapore Price

In Singapore, the cost of rhinoplasty surgery ranges between $4,500-$20,500. The cost varies depending on a lot of different factors, including:

    Complexity of the procedure
The extent of the procedure to be done affects how long the plastic surgery will last. More complex procedures to make the nose straighter and longer will cost a bit more than simple bridge implants.

    Doctor’s fee and anesthesia cost
Surgical fees also vary from doctor to doctor. More experienced and more reliable specialists normally come at a higher price compared to less experienced ones. They may be a bit expensive for a reason - your safety is their first priority. Also, for complicated procedures, if you opt to have an anesthesiologist and have it done under general anaesthesia, that will add to the overall value. For simple rhinoplasties, local anaesthesia and sedation are already enough to carry out the operation.

    Facility cost (operating room etc.)
Another important factor that affects the cost of rhinoplasty in Singapore would be the choice of the facility where it will be performed. Major operating rooms in private hospitals charge more while simple operating clinics - less.

    Medication, and follow-ups.
Some aftercare medications may be prescribed by your doctor and the costs may differ. Also, additional post-op care treatments like anti-swelling treatments and hair washing services may also add more costs. If there are complications like irritations and infection, a follow-up consultation is required and may also require you to spend more money on subsequent treatments. Therefore, it is vital to take your recovery instructions seriously to help you save money.

The reconstructive rhinoplasty offered in his clinic aims to repair broken noses post-accident, while the cleft rhinoplasty is for patients with abnormally shaped noses due to a cleft lip and palate.

Aside from that procedure, one of Dr. Goh’s most in-demand surgeries is the Asian rhinoplasty, which reshapes noses based on the Asian beauty standards. It’s popular not only among locals, but expats and tourists as well.

I went with my wife to Dr Sweng for consultation for Ptosis & Upper Eyelid Surgery (Upper Blepharoplasty). Dr Ng was very patient and detailed. He answer all our queries one by one with some pictures and demo how it was done and usually what causes it. One of the question asked why some people after the surgery , the eyelid seem like cannot closed properly and have to redo the surgery months later which might be cause by lower eyelid.

We did our own research and some colleagues and friends and in the end we proceed with the surgery in Jan this year and everything went smoothly and the recovery was fast and most importantly the result was good and satisfying.

    b. Angeline Chew

I did the lifting of my double eyelid in Jan this year and the experience with Dr Ng and the team at the clinic was fantastic! Dr Ng was very patient in explaining the details of the procedure, the recovery process, and the precaution to take.
I was glad I made the right choice to select Sweng Plastic Aesthetic Clinic to do this procedure. I read up many reviews and almost consider another clinic at Paragon. However, after reading the reviews online and the consultation with Dr Ng, it gave me the confidence to engage Dr Ng to do this procedure for me.

After almost 9 months, I am very satisfied with the results. Dr Ng was also very meticulous in following up in the post-op consultation and would ensure that the wound heals properly.

Dr Woffles Wu did a surgery for me 15 years ago which made my face more feminine and better proportioned. I felt much more confident! For the past 10 years I have also been seeing him for fillers—am always so impressed by his outstanding skills and sharp eye for beauty. The results he can produce with a small vial of filler are stunning! Have seen other people with strangely filled cheeks, but Dr Wu gives you higher, fuller cheeks that look totally natural.

Also he is very knowledgeable and will honestly tell you if a procedure is not recommended, or if there’s a less invasive option. Very kind and trustworthy doctor and his team of staff are also warm, caring and professional. I’m thoroughly impressed by my experience at this clinic 🙂

    b. Shane Iau Yang

I have been seeing Dr Woffles Wu for acne, and it has been a great experience. He has been very patient in ensuring I fully understand the severity of my condition as well as the treatment plan I was going for. He is very easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable sharing about my condition. Over the next few months, my acne has cleared, something no other doctor has been able to help me achieve for years! Furthermore, the staff in the clinic are extremely friendly and professional, making my entire experience there simply amazing. I highly recommend going to Dr. Wu’s clinic for acne, and any other aesthetic conditions!

    FAQ

    1. Common Types of Rhinoplasty Procedures in Singapore

Rhinoplasty consists of a wide array of procedures that can range from a simple insertion of implants to complex operations. The type of rhinoplasty procedure will always be dependent on the recommendation of your doctor. Therefore, it is important to inform him or her what outcome you want to achieve.

After a thorough consultation, they will be able to assess what needs to be changed, the complexity and the type of procedure to be done. These are the two most common rhinoplasty procedures performed by doctors in Singapore:
    • Asian Rhinoplasty – Augments flat and wide noses that are common among Asians to make the nose look higher.
    • Reduction Rhinoplasty – Reduces the size of certain parts of the nose to make it appear smaller or narrower.
    • Male Rhinoplasty – Enhances the nose to make it appear stronger and sharper that matches the common facial features among men.
    • Hooked Nose Excision – Smoothens a protrusion or hump of a hooked nose
    • Long Nose Correction – Corrects a lengthy nose to make it match the facial features of the patient.
    • Revision Rhinoplasty – A secondary procedure to correct a bad nose job or to address issues resulting from a previous surgery

    2. Is Rhinoplasty Painful?

Anaesthesia is used during the surgery, so the patient will not feel any pain. Pain and swelling may be experienced for one week after surgery, but this can be addressed with pain medications.

    3. Are There Any Non-Surgical Alternatives to Rhinoplasty?

Patients have the option to go for non-surgical alternatives to rhinoplasty that use fillers or threads. However, these procedures are not permanent and only recommended for minor nose restructuring.
